Muhlenberg Greene Architects is seeking an experienced Architectural Project Manager to join our team!

Muhlenberg Greene Architects is a full-service Architectural design practice encompassing a diverse range of project types and sizes. We are seeking a versatile, design professional with strong production AND management skills to take on our expanding project load. The candidate should be licensed as NCARB, AIA, or Registered Architect (PA licensure not required). A proven history of senior architectural project management may be considered in lieu of licensure.

As a general practice Architecture firm, our staff must be well-versed in a multitude of project types including new Commercial and Institutional Architecture, Architectural Restoration and Repair, Adaptive Re-use, and Custom Residential design. Our Project Managers must be capable of taking on whatever challenges our clients present to us; ready to provide sophisticated, thoughtful solutions and comprehensive documentation for any project scope.

The ideal candidate will be able to take a project from initial planning and schematic design through construction completion. Skills required include creative and critical thinking, attention to detail, thorough construction documentation experience, and strong knowledge of architectural conventions and common construction systems to meet unique project needs and budgets. Applicants should be well-versed in developing professional projects in a 3D BIM environment including the development of full construction document sets.

Utilizing live presentations, high-quality drawings, and well-written media, our team members work together to execute successful projects for our clients. This role is best suited for someone with a professional presence, who is highly collaborative and comfortable interacting with design team members and consultants, local authorities, and contractors.

QUALIFICATIONS

· B.Arch or M. Arch from NAAB-accredited Architecture Program.

· Licensed Architect preferred.

· 8+ years of professional Architecture experience, minimum 2 years Senior Project Manager role overseeing projects from conception through construction.

· Knowledge of commercial design, detail, and construction systems and techniques. Custom residential experience is a plus.

· 5+ years of professional project experience working within Archicad, Revit, or comparable 3D design platforms for all phases of project design and documentation. Archicad experience is a strong plus.

· Technical Specification writing (CSI format)

· Strong written, verbal, and graphic presentation skills

· Experience with multiple-prime contracts and/or public projects a plus.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Specific responsibilities include but aren’t limited to:

· Project Management.

· Design, Modeling, and Documentation in 3D/BIM environment.

· Existing Conditions Survey and Evaluation.

· Material and Finishes Selection.

· Specification Writing.

· Cost Estimating.

· Bidding and Construction Contract Administration.

· Collaborate and coordinate with consulting engineers.

· Manage and guide production staff to expected standards of design.

· Fluency working in the ArchiCAD BIM platform; adhere-to and further develop company CAD standards. (Some Revit/Autocad may also be required based on project or client requirements).
